Capital Safety Opens Training FacilitiesMetal Construction News 6/1/2008
 Capital Safety, Red Wing, Minn., has opened a new, state-of-the-art, fall protection training facility in Houston. The 7,000-square-foot (650-m2) facility offers fall protection courses, including competent person, authorized person, qualified person, program administrator, rescue, tower climber and confined space, among others. It is equipped with hands-on scaffolding for climbing, tying off and descending and has a rebar wall, form wall and oil derrick prop that simulate real working conditions. Hands-on training areas and simulated fall protection scenarios comprise two-thirds of the facility.
