ATAS International's Arc-Metafor is
a 12-inch structural ribbed panel with Wind-Lok fastening system in
convex or concave form. The architectural ribbed panel with
four-up, four-down ribs can be installed vertically or
horizontally. It is available in 0.032-aluminum in 31 colors and
clear and bronze anodized.
Englert rents and sells the 2-inch
Panel Curving Machine and the 1 1/2-inch or 1-inch Panel Curving
Machine. The 2-inch Panel Curving Machine curves and seams
Englert's Profile Series 2400 panels, which are formed on roll
formers. The 1 1/2-inch or 1-inch Panel Curving Machine curves and
seams Englert's Profile Series Model 1300 and Model 1301 panels,
which are formed on roll formers. The 2-inch-tall curved 2400
system and the 1 1/2-inch curved 1300 system can be brought down to
a minimum radius of 36 inches in aluminum or 100 inches in
The Garland Co.
The Garland Co.'s R-Mer Span
structural standing seam roof system's symmetrical T-seam design
with seam cap provides a high-performing panel system with a
one-piece clip that allows for thermal expansion and contraction. T
system provides the long-term durability of metal with mechanically
curved and tapered design capabilities to meet uncommon roofing
IMETCO's Series 300 panels can be
curved in a single convex radius (barrel vault) and single concave
curvature (reverse barrel vault). The panels can have a combination
of convex and concave curvatures to form an S-shaped panel profile
and the system can be factory curved or field curved. The Series
300 panel system's tightest curvature in 24-gauge steel is
typically 15 feet and in 0.05-aluminum the curvature is down 4
MBCI's curved FlexLoc roof panel is
a non-structural panel for curved applications and soffits. The
panel is for designs with a barrel vault and smooth look (no
standing seams) and horizontal lines instead of vertical. The
panels are available in 8 1/2-, 9 1/2- and 10 1/2-inch widths and
are clipped down to a waterproofed solid substrate, eliminating
panel penetrations and exposed fasteners.
McElroy Metal's Maxima 1.5 and
Maxima ADV are vertical leg standing seam systems mechanically
seamed on the roof. McElroy Metal's 238T system is a symmetrical,
two-piece mechanically seamed roof panel for retro-fit or new
construction, and the company's Medallion I features a batten cap
standing seam system. Maxima 1.5, Maxima ADV and 238T panels are
curved on-site by a McElroy Metal rollforming technician; Medallion
I curving is done with rental curving equipment.
Petersen Aluminum's Tite-Loc line of
mechanically seamed architectural standing seam panels can be
curved to a radius of 20 feet for steel panels and 14 feet for
aluminum panels. Tite-Loc panels are recommended for higher wind
load applications and those requiring a weathertightness warranty.
Petersen Aluminum's Snap-On Standing Seam panels feature a
1-inch-high cap and can be curved to a minimum radius of 9 feet.
Peel-andstick membrane is recommended for both panels in curved
Umicore Building Products
Umicore Building Products' VMZ
Dexter roofing line is a pre-formed VMZ Zinc Plus system with a
standing seam profile and concealed fasteners. It is a complete
system that consists of factory-formed panels, clips and fasteners.
Panels are available in multiple dimensions, providing a variety of
design possibilities. VMZ Dexter can be formed with a raised,
curved top standing seam shaped major rib at the panel's edge and
flat pan between the major rib and panel edge.
