Dramatic elevators at South Beach hotel

Because of its lasting beauty and minimal
maintenance, sustainable stainless steel is being used more and
more in elevators. For the elevators in the Shore Club on South
Beach, located in Miami Beach, Fla., Morgan's Hotel Group chose
Allison Park, Pa.-based Contrarian Metal Resources' InvariGlass
Neues. The InvariGlass is framed with Neopolitan Plyboo, a
three-dimensional wood layered in colors and textures that creates
a dramatic look that is mirrored by the InvariGlass. The
3/4-inch-thick wood adds to the depth to the layered look.
Hollywood, Fla.-based Vasile Elevator handled the project, which
included seven elevators in four towers.
