Designed to have
a "Florida vernacular" look, the South Regional Library in Naples,
Fla., is warm, inviting and environmentally friendly. The new $12.5
million, 30,000-square-foot (2,787-m2) facility utilized 75,000
square feet (6,968 m2) of 24-gauge 0.028-inch (0.7-mm) preweathered

America Inc., Woburn, Mass.
Schenkel & Shultz Architects, Raleigh, N.C., was the architect;
DeAngelis Diamond, Naples, Fla., was the general contractor; Metal
Tech-USA, Peachtree City, Ga., was the fabricator; and Murton
Roofing, Port Charlotte, Fla., was the installer.
