Metal roof tops residential hangar

The Sullivan Hangar is a
3,500-square-foot residential hangar in Harbor Springs, Mich. The
project features a BattenLok roof system from Houston-based
Metallic Building Co. Environmentally conscious; the hangar boasts
a geothermal heat/snow melt system. The project contains a 24- by
20-foot suspended platform and an 8- by 23-foot catwalk from the
existing house, in addition to a 20- by 24-foot observation room
and deck that is located on the roof. The Sullivan Hangar is 70
feet wide and 50 feet long with an eave height of 22 1/6 feet.
Kingsland Building Systems, Howell, Mich., was the general
contractor and builder.
