Olsen, owner of a penthouse on top of the historic Penn Hotel in
downtown Monroe, La., was looking for a long-lasting roof that
would really stand out.
McElroy Metal, Bossier City, La., supplied 2,500 square feet of
heated Medallion Lok metal roof panels in Colonial Red. Being
10-plus floors off the ground, and with some of the structure being
in line with the edge of the building, the job posed some unique
problems for the installation.
Jerry Madden, Monroe, was the architect; Gene Ephington, West
Monroe, La., was the general contractor; Professional Roofing, West
Monroe, was the roofing subcontractor; and Roofing Supply Group,
West Monroe, was the distributor.
