Submission Hints and Guidelines
Modern Trade Communications accepts bylined articles on an
exclusive-only basis, and all content is edited according to AP
Style.
New Products: Every month, we feature new
products that have been recently introduced. Please submit press
releases about the product and a photo.
Product Catalogs: Two categories
every month that showcase products by category. Submit recent
introductions, most popular products and updated products.
Feature Articles: Mostly written
in-house, so we're looking for quality sources and great projects
to support the article, whether its an industry overview,
installation solutions or business tips.
Building Profile: An in-depth look at one
project from multiple aspects. Design decisions, cost concerns,
product choices, meeting owner desires. Staff written. Please
submit projects and brief write-ups for consideration.
Know Your Products: One-page articles
designed to help our readers learn about specific product
categories by educating them. We will feature 2 - 4 articles in
each issue. Article submissions should be more educational than
promotional.
Drawing Board: One-page articles designed
to show our readers what architects have on the drawing board for a
future project or a project in progress.
Market Feature: Every month, we feature
great projects by category so our readers can see what's new and
what the market wants. Submit photos and write-ups.
Top Honors: A one-page article that
features a unique and interesting project. Submit photos and a
description. Inquire first.
