Hunter Douglas announced a 40% expansion of the Hunter Douglas
Architectural Products facility in Norcross, Georgia. The unit
engineers, manufactures, and sells a wide range of Luxalon metal
ceilings, wood ceilings, custom ceilings, and wall panels. This
location has housed Hunter Douglas' manufacturing operations for
over 15 years.
"This is a significant investment by Hunter Douglas in the
growing market for specialty ceilings and walls," says Dilip
Joglekar, vice president and general manager, Hunter Douglas
Architectural Products. "The expanded facility in Norcross enhances
our North American operations, giving Hunter Douglas new equipment
and capacity to support an expanding product line, while letting us
enhance quality and maintain superior customer service."
"We are very excited about these manufacturing enhancements," adds
Ron Rice, general manager, Luxalon Metal Ceilings, Hunter Douglas
Architectural Products. "Bringing the new facilities online will
boost our efforts across the board. First, it enhances the range of
standard and client-specific solutions we deliver to owners,
architects, and designers.
Second, it helps us maintain our strong working relationships with
contractors and installers throughout North America, so they can
finish projects on time and on budget. And third, it gives our
excellent group of Division 9 sales representatives an even greater
portfolio of products and services to sell."
