Miramar Courtyard by Marriott, Ocean City, Md.

Welcoming visitors to this new hotel is a Wind-Lok (MPS/ MPV120) Soffit from ATAS International Inc. About 21,000 square feet (1,951 m2)of the product was used. The panels are 0.032 aluminum in Ascot White. Wind-Lok has a hook, pull and fasten system, making it easy to install. No fasteners are visible after proper installation. The panels were installed by Brothers Dryway and the builder was M.L. Blades.

Peter A. Fillat III, AIA, LEED AP, with Peter Fillat Architects, Baltimore, said his objective was to create a clean, simple design that reflected the Art Deco building that previously occupied the site. Fillat noted that Wind-Lok was selected because the panels add sparkle to the building. The Captain’s Table restaurant is on the third floor and Miramar, a 12-unit condominium, is on the building’s top level. This contemporary design gives guests a boutique hotel experience.
