AIA Pennsylvania honors architectural excellence in diverse projects

The American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) Pennsylvania chapter announced winners of its 2023 AIA Pennsylvania Architectural Excellence Design and COTE Awards.

Twenty-two architecture firms received awards for projects including manufacturing, learning, and office spaces. The projects are designed to promote occupant health, wellness, safety, productivity, and development.

Recipients include mixed-use, infill, senior, and affordable housing projects designed for accessibility, resilience, and comfort. Adaptively reused retail and recreation spaces designed to revive communities are also among the honorees.

Silver Medal winners include:

Fahy Commons, the world’s first Living Building Challenge Core-Ready project, designed by Re:Vision Architecture, based in Philadelphia, won the COTE Awards program’s top honor.
