Apogee Enterprises Inc., based in Minneapolis, hired a director of sales and three sales managers for its architectural framing systems (AFS) division, which is based in Wausau, Wis.
Jeff Appel, based in Virginia, has 36 years of industry experience including 20 years at EFCO. Donahue, based in Florida, has more than 30 years of experience in commercial building envelope products including four years at EFCO.
[1]Appel, director of sales at Apogee AFS, represents Alumicor, EFCO, Tubelite, and Wausau Window brand fenestration products. Marc Donahue, Southeast regional manager at Apogee AFS, Jeff Fochs, South regional manager, and Dan Goodman, Midwest regional manager, represent EFCO, Tubelite, and Wausau Window products.
Fochs, based in Wisconsin, has 30 years of sales experience in architectural aluminum products and services. For 10 years, he worked at Linetec. Goodman, based in Michigan, worked at Tubelite for 30 years in production, estimating, and sales.
With local client development managers, regional sales managers work with commercial architects, glazing contractors, and building project teams to specify products including aluminum-framed storefront systems, curtainwalls, entrances, windows, and daylighting control systems. Regional sales managers report to Jon Close, vice president of sales at Apogee AFS. They also work with Jim Hughes, national accounts manager at Apogee AFS, and architectural engineering, estimating, project management, and customer service teams.
