3A Composites Expands Team to Support Alucobond(R) ACM Sales in the Americas

3A Composites USA is pleased to announce the following personnel appointments to support sales of the company’s Alucobond® aluminum composite material (ACM) to the architectural market in the Americas:

Douglas A. Twitchell has been named vice president, architectural sales, Americas. In this role, Twitchell will be responsible for the sale of Alucobond ACM to the architectural markets in North America, Central America and South America.

Twitchell has worked for 3A Composites (formerly Alcan Composites) since 1999 and most recently served as marketing manager for the company’s architectural/CID (Corporate Identity) business segments. Previously, Twitchell served as the company’s business development manager, corporate identity, for Alucobond in the architectural market. He also has served as northwest district sales manager for 3A Composites’ products in the graphic display market.

Benjamin Branham has been named architectural marketing manager, Americas. Branham will be responsible for advertising, public relations, sales tools and electronic media content in support of sales of Alucobond ACM to the architectural market, including the corporate identity business segment.

Branham most recently served as marketing manager for Sonitrol Security. He began his career in the architectural building market at The Branham Co., Inc., where he served as a project manager for custom home construction.

Mike Caldwell has been named sales manager for the company’s Corporate Identity business segment. Caldwell will be responsible for sales of Alucobond ACM for architectural corporate identity programs in North America as well as for the development of inventory programs to support corporate identity sales.

Caldwell has more than 25 years’ experience selling products to the architectural building and signage markets and most recently served as southeast territory manager for Simrit Sealing Technologies.

Christina Palmer has been named architectural application engineer, Americas, supporting sales of Alucobond ACM. In this role, Palmer will represent the company in building codes and standards issues; manage technical development, testing and qualification of architectural products; develop product technical materials and training; and design/develop new products and applications for the architectural market.

Palmer has more than 25 years’ experience in the building construction industry. Palmer most recently served as owner/president of CSi of the Carolinas, a construction consulting firm founded in 1991. Prior to starting CSi, Palmer served as a technical sales engineer for both H.H. Robertson and for J.R. Morton Co.
