CPI Daylighting introduces the new UniQuad translucent daylighting system

The UniQuad structural translucent panel system is the newest in CPI Daylighting[1]‘s next generation of daylighting products.

Factory pre-fabricated for trouble-free installation, UniQuad’s long-spanning capability allows panels to be clicked into place onsite, providing a seamless, flush look without metal seams. The result is a more cost-effective, unitized daylighting system.

The UniQuad system is an assembly of two independent translucent insulated panels, joined by a mechanically interlocking structural connection that eliminates the need for vulnerable adhesives. The result is a single, integrated, high-performance daylighting system with added durability and even light distribution thanks to the system’s Nano-cell technology.

The UniQuad system carries the following features:

1. Long-span capability – UniQuad is the ONLY system that can span up to 12-ft. versus the traditional 4 to 5-ft. translucent panel without compromising panel deflection, as demanded by IBC building codes.
2. Rainscreen – UniQuad’s design provides superior protection from air and water infiltration, as its air pressure management prevents water penetration into the building.
3. Indefinite Envelope Protection – The UniQuad provides indefinite building envelope protection with its advanced Removable Skin Technology (RST) that allows the exterior panel to be replaced as needed.
4. Insulation – Available with up to .22 U-value and 50% light transmission simultaneously UniQuad provides the best light to insulation ratio in the industry.
5. Scalable – The UniQuad can be configured with additional insulation, Class A fire-rated assembly, sound reduction, dynamic shading, additional structural performance and military forced entry resistance.
