Elevate Commercial Roofing Systems[2] has appointed Kim Eckerman as vice president of marketing and communications, Americas.

With more than 17 years since first joining the building products and roofing industry, Eckerman brings a wealth of experience in marketing, communications, and leadership.

Eckerman will lead marketing initiatives across the roofing systems and lining business, including Elevate, GenFlex[3], and Gentite.

“Collaborating closely with our Americas sales teams, Eckerman will ensure that our brand promise—Nobody Covers You Better–is at the core of every customer interaction,” a company press release states.

Before joining Elevate, Eckerman served as the director of marketing and communications at TAMKO Building Products, where she led teams that helped to develop new product lines and delivered marketing campaigns.

“We are thrilled to welcome [Eckerman] to the Elevate team. Her extensive experience in building a strong brand with a customer-first approach will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen the Elevate business and demonstrate that ‘Nobody Covers You Better,’” says Kristin Beck, president, Elevate Commercial Roofing Systems, Americas. “[Eckerman] is a proven marketing leader in the roofing industry, and with her on the Elevate team, we will continue to make positive progress on our journey while keeping our customers and communities at the heart of everything we do.”

Prior to entering the building products and roofing industry, Eckerman worked in journalism as a broadcast news anchor and reporter. She also taught collegiate communications courses at Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) in southwest Missouri. Eckerman earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from MSSU and a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in applied communications from Missouri State University in Springfield. She is also certified in Artificial Intelligence Marketing through the University of Virginia Darden School Foundation. Eckerman is actively involved with National Women in Roofing and was recently honored with its Diamond MVP Award for 2024.
