GreenWizardannounced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with the International Living Future Institute. By integrating the Institute’s Declare™ program into GreenWizard’s Product Management Workflow™, the two organizations will promote greater transparency and accountability in the materials marketplace.

The Institute, which is also home to the Living Building Challenge, the built environment’s most rigorous and ambitious performance standard, created Declare, to provide a “nutrition label” for building products, intending to transform the marketplace through transparency and open communication. The Institute and Declare now join GreenWizard’s list of industry-leading partners in creating tools and presenting building product data for a greener built environment.

Design and construction professionals use the Declare label to find building products that have disclosed their ingredients, raw material sources, and manufacturing locations in support of the Living Building Challenge stringent materials requirements. Any project team that is looking to identify a product’s ingredients and embrace the movement toward a transparent materials marketplace can use the Declare label for building product specification.

GreenWizard’s Product Management Workflow is used for the research, specification, modeling, and documentation of building materials and their associated projects. This strategic partnership will help the Institute and GreenWizard eliminate market barriers to building materials transparency.
