Heyco Metals[1] of Reading, Pa., has significantly expanded the Photo Gallery on its website for CopperPlus[2], the copper-clad stainless steel ASTM B 506-09 material used in roofing and architectural applications nationwide.
CopperPlus is composed of two outer layers of 100% copper metallurgically bonded to a Type 430 Stainless core. The material offers greater strength and durability, lower weight, reduced thermal expansion, complete formability and improved solderability compared to solid copper, yet looks and patinas at the same rate as monolithic copper.
The gallery at www.heycometals.com/copperplus/gallery[3] features multiple photos of residential, commercial and institutional CopperPlus projects, including the historic, 100,000-square-foot CopperPlus installation at
Lambert-St. Louis International Airport completed in November 2014. Other significant projects featured include the
Trinka Davis Veterans Village in Carrollton, GA and St. Francis of Assisi Church in Traverse City, MI. The Gallery also includes a new Case Studies section with additional details for select projects.
