Heyco Metals[1] of Reading, Pa., launched its new website for CopperPlus, a copper-clad stainless steel ASTM B 506-09 roofing material featuring two outer layers of 100 percent copper metallurgically bonded to a core of Type 430 Stainless Steel. Visitors to heycometals.com/copperplus[2] will find a gallery
of project profiles, installation instructions, a product brochure, FAQ section and product video.
CopperPlus was first introduced in the 1960’s,
and is used in a wide range of commercial and residential roofing and architectural metal applications requiring high strength, durability
and economy. Its lighter weight eases handling and installation, while its low thermal conductivity permits easy soldering. The resulting product offers properties of stainless steel with the beauty and patination properties of solid copper.
“The CopperPlus website has been created to re-introduce Heyco Metal’s unique roofing and architectural metal material, and gives customers an easy way to find all the information they need in one place,” said Heyco Architectural Product Manager Richard Petty. “It serves as a resource for architects, contractors, roofers, and engineers to help educate them about the unique science, integrity and performance characteristics of CopperPlus.”
Heyco selected LP&M Advertising[3] of Syracuse, N.Y., to develop the new CopperPlus website. The site can also be accessed through a portal page at copperplus.com.[4]
