Jim Waldron has been named president of Wausau Window and Wall Systems[1], located in Wausau, Wis. He joins Wausau on April 29 and will report to Joe Puishys, chief executive officer of Apogee, parent company of Wausau.
“[Waldrom] brings extensive leadership experience to Wausau, most recently in the building products industry,” says Puishys. “He has successfully grown top- and bottom-line results in the businesses he has run, and I am excited that he will be leveraging his experience and expertise to help Wausau meet its growth goals.”
Most recently, Waldron was president of Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation (MSMC), a $300 million premier provider of metal roofing, siding and building components for the commercial construction market. Prior to running MSMC, he was with The Timken Company, a $5 billion global technology provider of high-performance bearings and steel, for more than 20 years. He had positions of increasing responsibility at Timken; his last was as president of a Timken joint venture with two Japanese companies.
