Louvers blow through test video

A new video from The Airolite Co. LLC, Schofield, Wis., details the Air Movement and Control Association International Inc. (AMCA) Standard 540 Large Missile Impact Testing and its effect on the specification of louvers on buildings located within windborne debris and hurricane prone regions.

The AMCA 540 Standard requires that manufacturers test louvers at two different missile speeds depending on the type of building and its location within the Hurricane Region.
