Metal-Era Appoints New V.P. of Operations

Metal-Era Inc., Waukesha, Wis., recently announced that
Nick Mallinger, former VP of Sales and Marketing, has moved into a new role and is now Vice President of Operations.

In accordance with this change, Metal-Era’s production department has been restructured to accommodate a third shift as well as a weekend shift. Nick Mallinger is instrumental in making these changes that will have Metal-Era operating Monday through Sunday. The additional shifts and hours are expected to take place in March 2014.

“I am looking forward to helping Metal-Era continue to move forward in 2014,” says
Nick Mallinger. “We have a great team and with the additional shifts and labor, Metal-Era will be able to meet more customer demand and expand as a business.”

Nick Mallinger has been with Metal-Era since 2004. He plans on continuing Metal-Era’s lean manufacturing initiatives and discovering additional ways to eliminate waste and increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
