PDL Building Products[1], a manufacturer and distributor of door systems for commercial buildings, is excited to announce its new blog. Written by Joan Smigel, PDL’s resident door expert, the blog aims to provide metal building industry players with information to better understand all things doors: Hardware, compliance, testing and more.
“Whether it’s how to know when to replace a door, which hardware is best for your application or what to ask a specialist when purchasing a system, our blog will have readers covered,” says Smigel.
The first post, which went live February 16th, is an update on the recent changes to metal building door testing upon which the commercial codes are based.
“There’s a lot of complicated information out there,” notes Smigel, “Our goal is to break down what you need to know about door systems in an easy-to-understand way.”
