Los Angeles-based Cannon Design, is pleased to announce that Hal Sibley, AIA, LEED AP, has joined Cannon Design as Associate Principal.
Sibley brings to the firm more than 30 years of experience in master planning and designing for healthcare. His leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills have resulted in the creation of high-performing teams focused on project success.
Sibley has extensive experience in large-scale hospital projects, including a new 2.4 million sf hospital in China and replacement hospitals for both Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. His professional and productive management style has been integral to the success of projects with challenging site, budget, and scheduling issues.
Prior to joining Cannon Design, Sibley served as Managing Principal with HMC Architects in Los Angeles. Previous to that association, Sibley served with Smith Group as Principal/Project Director.
Sibley’s professional and community involvement includes presiding as Co-Chair of the AIA Los Angeles Healthcare Committee, serving on the Healthcare and Education Committees for the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and serving on the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House.
