Tecta Wins Safety Awards at 4 Branches Nationally

Tecta America Corp., is earning recognition across the country for its commitment to safety as four of the company’s branches have received safety awards from key industry associations.
The Tecta branches earning recognition for safety include:
- Schwickert’s Tecta America – The Associated Builders and Contractors recognized the branch with its platinum-level STEP Award. The Mankato, Minn.-based branch was one of only three in the Minnesota/North Dakota region to win the award. The ABC chapter also certified Schwickert’s Tecta America as an Accredited Quality Contractor “in good standing” for the year 2012. This distinction recognizes contracting firms excelling in quality, safety, employee benefits, training and community relations.
- F.J.A. Christiansen, a Tecta America Company – The Milwaukee-based branch also earned a platinum STEP Award from ABC. This is the sixth consecutive year F.J.A. Christiansen has received a STEP Award.
- Tecta America Southeast – The Georgia chapter of The Associated General Contractors of America, Inc. (AGC of America) awarded the Cumming, Ga. branch with a Certificate of Achievement for “safety excellence on company jobsites in 2011.” Tecta America Southeast was awarded for placing third in the organization’s Specialty Contractor 100,000-200,000 Work Hours Division.
- Tecta America Zero – With offices in Cincinnati and Louisville, Tecta America Zero received a platinum STEP Award for ABC’s Ohio Valley chapter.
