The Design District Returns
to METALCON in 2026

The 35th annual METALCON in Orlando, Fla., will once again host the Design District, where attendees can participate in AIA-accredited education focused on the innovative use of metal in the built environment.

Topical, timely education

One of five learning centers at the event, the Design District offers opportunities for design and building professionals to expand their knowledge with sessions relevant to their roles, business needs, and technical interests.

The Metal Performance Learning Center provides education focused on building performance, resilience, and compliance with codes and standards.

The Contractor Business Success Center looks at practical strategies for improving profitability, operations, and workforce development.

The Tools & Technology Zone examines emerging technologies, software, automation, and productivity tools for metal construction professionals.

Lastly, the Installation & Techniques Learning Center provides jobsite-focused training on installation best practices, safety, and field challenges.

Spanish-language learning opportunities

To better serve the growing community of Spanish-speaking professionals in metal construction, METALCON 2026 features a new Latino Track with educational sessions and hands-on demonstrations presented in Spanish.
Sessions in the Latino Track include:
  • From Vision to Profit: Building a Winning Business Plan in the Metal Industry
  • Behind the System: Leadership, Communication & Growth in Modern Roofing
  • From Coil to Code: How High-Performance Metal Roofing Systems Are Engineered, Tested and Manufactured
  • Why Engineered Roofing Systems Matter More Than Ever
