VMZINC announced that the company has opened a new training facility and warehouse in Durham, located at 2320 Presidential Drive, Suite 110. With 3,300 square feet and a climate controlled training room, the new facility will provide service to 28 representatives throughout the United States and Canada. In addition to technical training and assistance, service for representatives will include a variety of metal samples, literature and trade show support.

Seven certified VMZ Pro-zinc trainers, with a combined experience of 55 years of working with zinc products, will provide six annual trainings at the new Durham facility each year. Pro-zinc is a technical assistance service for contractors, which provides practical training in the form of educational courses, training on the building site and on-site technical assistance if needed. The first scheduled training at the new facility will be conducted in early February.

Additionally, VMZINC has plans to launch a half-day training course for architects to come to the training facility for a short mock VMZ Pro-zinc instruction and presentation. On-site trainings at other facilities are available upon request for companies with more than five employees attending.
