American Buildings Co., Eufaula, Ala., recently named winners of its 2008 Excellence in Design Awards. The Excellence in Design Awards competition is open to all authorized ABC Builders and Architectural Metal System Roofers. Winners are selected by a panel of impartial judges. The winners are as follows:

• Roof of the Year—Foley High School, Foley, Ala. • Agricultural Facility—Branson Veterinary Hospital, Branson, Miss. • Church/Religious Center—Fairfield Christian Church, Baltimore, Ohio
• Commercial Facility—Carlton Concrete, Visalia, Calif. • Government/Institutional Facility—Davidson Center for Space Exploration, Huntsville, Ala. • Green Facility—Opportunity Builders Inc., Millersville, Md. • Manufacturing/Industrial Facility—UDI Metal Components Building, Durham, N.C. • Office Facility—Freedom Plaza, Cookeville, Tenn. • Recreation Facility—RV/MH Hall of Fame, Phase II, Elkhart, Ind. • Retail Facility—Bingham Cyclery, Ogden, Utah
