The American Iron and Steel Institute, Washington, D.C., has redesigned the public policy section of its Web site. The new design makes it easier for visitors to access information regarding the policy positions of the American steel industry. The site provides a new section in the “Public Policy” section called “Policy Resources” where visitors can go to view policy analysis, steel fact sheets, testimony, institute-supported legislation and other resources. The “Public Policy” section has a “Take Action” feature that allows visitors to participate in grassroots-level activities, such as contacting elected officials and reviewing issues.
