Arkema Inc., Philadelphia, announced the addition of John W. Pruett as the newly appointed Market Development Manager for the Functional Additives division. John will be responsible for developing new acrylic Plastistrength and Durastrength business with a strong focus in the rigid PVC and cellular PVC foam and profile markets. He will lead the new marketing and commercialization efforts for both processing aids and impact modifiers.
John brings to this role over 10 years of marketing and business development experience through various positions at CertainTeed/ Saint-Gobain, Principia Partners, Propex and more recently through his own industrial market research and advisory services firm Radnor Research & Advisory Services LLC.
John earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from James Madison University, and his Master’s degree in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. John is fluent in French, and speaks some Polish and Italian. He lives in Wayne, Pa., with his wife and two children.
