Custom-Bilt Metals, Chino, Calif., has entered into a licensing agreement to distribute Odessa, Fla.-based Roof Hugger Inc.’s patented sub-purlin systems in the western United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. Custom-Bilt Metals’ President Tony Chiovare said this is an exciting and new venture for Custom-Bilt that enables its roofing contractors to expand their businesses into new energy-efficient, retrofit roofing opportunities. Mark James, vice president, sales and marketing, for Roof Hugger, said this licensing arrangement will benefit everyone that is interested in metal-overmetal retrofit applications in the West.
