Ivyland, Pa.-based Drexel Metals Corp., a supplier to regional manufacturers of metal roofing, has partnered with Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Advanced Green Technologies, a full-service solar distributor, to create a complete thin fi lm photovoltaic solar program fully integrated with Drexel Metals’ engineered metal roof system. “Our agreement with AGT allows our regional manufacturers to apply Uni-Solar thin film photovoltaic laminates directly onto a Drexel Metal Roof System,” said Brian Partyka, president of Drexel Metals. “It’s a real win-win for both companies.”
Drexel with AGT will provide system design, quarterly training installation programs, incentive/ rebate assistance, and engineering that includes Miami-Dade County product approvals for both the metal panels and integrated solar system.
“Drexel offers a great benefit to the roofing industry as they have a superior business model through their network of regional manufacturers,” said Michael Kornahrens, president of AGT.
