Kingspan Insulated Panels, Increcently designated their DeLand manufacturing facility as the global corporation’s new North American headquarters. Kingspan and the City of DeLand, Fla. honored this event with a formal afternoon Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, June 26th at the plant on 726 Summerhill Drive.
Kingspan executives joined city and state officials on the podium during the event, providing insight into Kingspan as a company and highlighting the positive opportunities Kingspan’s activities will present for the Central Florida community and economy. They also described Kingspan’s important leadership role globally in energy efficient construction and sustainable design, and how that role will continue expanding into North America.
Kingspan already revealed that investments and upgrades are adding capacity to the current production lines in the existing plant. As these projects develop, they anticipate initially adding a minimum of 40 new jobs at this location alone.
Kingspan currently employs 132 individuals at the DeLand location, and over 6,000 world-wide. The company anticipates consistent, significant growth throughout North America during the next 5-10 years
