The Metal Construction Association has welcomed Rick Perry as its new technical and research manager. Rick will lead Codes and Standards activities and support many of MCA’s technical and research projects, complementing the work that Scott Kriner, MCA’s current technical director, continues to lead.
Perry holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo in Ohio and has over 25 years in product design, development and manufacturing; related to the residential and commercial building supply industry. He has professional training in project management and Lean Six Sigma.
Perry held a similar role at the Window & Door Manufacturers Association for eight years, where he was involved in the development of performance standards, authored technical reports, and worked with committees to manage projects and publications.
