Waukesha, Wis.-based Metal-Era Inc. announced Tony Mallinger has been promoted to president, effective immediately. In his new role, Mallinger will oversee all of Metal-Era’s business segments.
Mallinger has been with Metal-Era since 2001 when he began as the COO and vice president of sales. He is a member of the Single Ply Roofing Industry and serves on SPRI’s education task force. Mallinger is also a frequently requested speaker at seminars for the Construction Specifications Institute, the American Institute of Architects and the Roof Consultants Institute.
Mallinger received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Business Administration achieving accounting and finance degrees.
Metal-Era also welcomed Paul Primavera as the new Midwest regional sales manager. He will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the sales efforts of Roof Edge Solutions, Edge Systems One and Airflow Solutions for 14 states. Prior to coming to Metal-Era, Primavera was the senior account representative for 12 years at Dow Chemical (formerly Stevens Roofing Systems). Primavera was also the technical sales representative at The Garland Co.
Primavera received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Evansville. An active member of the Construction Specifications Institute Indianapolis Chapter and the Roof Consultants Institute Chicago Chapter, Primavera is an often-requested speaker for the AIA, CSI and RCI.
