Kolbe Windows & Doors[1] is marking its 80th anniversary with 80 Acts of Kindness, a yearlong initiative supporting communities where employees live and work. Kolbe says that team members surpassed the goal ahead of schedule through food, clothing, and school-supply drives, blood donations, volunteer projects, and other acts of service.

“Our 80th anniversary gave us an opportunity to celebrate Kolbe’s history while giving back to the communities that have supported us throughout the years,” said Jeff Delonay, president of Kolbe Windows & Doors. “What started as a goal of 80 acts became something much bigger. Our team members embraced the spirit behind the initiative and found their own ways to make a difference in the communities where we live and work.”

The effort has supported dozens of nonprofit organizations, schools, senior living communities and local programs. Kolbe also partnered with LINK Healthcare[2] to assemble 100 HOPE Kits for breast cancer patients. According to Kolbe, the generosity continues through year-end with activities including a Toys for Tots collection, nursing home cards, Salvation Army bell ringing, and another blood drive.
