Plyco’s MWE-100 low-profile ridge ventilator has 1/2-inch ventilation slots on each side that provide a free area of 12 square inches per lineal foot for airflow. The MWE-100 low-profile ridge ventilator is 10 feet long. It has seams that are sealed at the factory with silicone sealant and overlap flashing to prevent rain and snow from entering buildings. On a building with a 4:12 roof pitch, the top of the ventilator extends 2 1/2 inches above the roof peak. The throat is 3 1/2 inches wide and unrestricted for easy air flow up and through the vent.
