Kora Studio[1] released version 1.0. letting architects of any experience level design a facade at full speed and immediately see whether it can be manufactured, transported, and installed.
The developer says that in tests conducted with 25 firms, complex parametric families were created in about five minutes using Kora, and compliance checks came back instantly.
“Architects should be designing, not acting as engineers or doing busywork. Too often they only learn about a limitation months after the design is finished. Kora Studio tells them the moment they draw it,” said Aurimas Sabulis, CEO of Kora Studio.
Version 1.0 features include design notifications that flag buildability issues and create fabrication-ready models; system-agnostic exteriors compatible with any prefabricated facade system or manufacturer; live 3D cladding, flexible window options, automatic corner detection, area calculations, and more.
