Underlayment is single-layer system

Boral Roofing LLC’s Acrilay roofing underlayment combines SBS-modified asphalt with an acrylic adhesive. It is a single-layer system. The underlayment adheres directly to decks with 6-inch strips of adhesive and release liners to protect the adhesive at toe and head laps. It allows more than 27 inches of non-adhered underlayment between adhesive strips. It can be used with a variety of roofing materials including stone-coated steel.
