The 30,000-square-foot (2,787-m2) Brackett Library, located on the Indian River State College Mueller Campus in Vero Beach, Fla., is a joint-use library between the college and Indian River County. Scheduled to open on Oct. 1, the library will be a full-service public facility offering youth services, community programming, public computers, and book and periodical collections for checkout.
The project features 22,700 square feet (2,109 m2) of 24-gauge, 1 1/2-inch (38-mm) Sentrigard metal roofing system Snaplock panels in Regal Blue, rollformed and installed by Florida certified roofing contractor Vero Beach Roofi ng Inc., Vero Beach. The Snaplock panels were formed with a Quadro rollformer from Sentriclad Architectural Metals provided by N.B. Handy Co., Lynchburg, Va. All flat stock sheets provided by N.B. Handy were fabricated into flashing and trim by Vero Beach Roofing and installed in compliance with Sentrigard specifications.
Lancaster, Pa.-based Fabral manufactures Sentriclad Architectural Metals, distributed exclusively by N.B. Handy and Morris Ginsberg, an N.B. Handy company. STH Architect Group, West Palm Beach, Fla., was the architect, and Proctor Construction Co., Vero Beach, was the general contractor.
