As part of a renovation project for a manufacturing and visitor facility for Cape Cod brand potato chips, the building’s exterior was redone with metal cladding.

Michael Pellegrino, AIA, chief marketing officer, New England operations at J.J. White Inc., says, “The facelift was simply to improve visitor experience. They’ve got a huge international following now and the original building had a tired look and really needed a cosmetic upgrade. We took it from a 1970s beige and white building to a modern looking bright blue and gray building with a bold white trim.”

To complete the project, Robert Ganter Contractors Inc. installed 8,500 square feet of McElroy Metal’s 26-gauge Mega-Rib 7.2 exposed fastener panels in Roman Blue and Ash Gray. The panels are oriented horizontally and have ribs spaced 7.2 inches apart.
