The 42,800-square-foot (3,976-m2) Chillicothe Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Ohio, required several large clear spans, which were achieved by utilizing a Star pre-engineered structure from Star Building Systems, Oklahoma City.

Completed in October 2007, the first phase of the project included a multipurpose center that was built with a traditional exterior using nine Star Building Systems structures that utilized SHI, SSB and SWE structural systems. For the roof, the builder used 34,532 square feet (3,208 m2) of StarShield roof systems in rustic red. More than 176,000 square feet (16,350 m2) of StarMark wall panels in regal white were used. A second phase of the project is planned to include a permanent sanctuary.

The Star Builder for this project was Maverick Builders Inc., general contractor was Master Church Builders and steel erector was Star Erectors Inc., all of Grove City. The architect was CDI Design Group Inc., Grove City.
