Church wins metal building award

American Buildings Co. supplied Galvalume Standing Seam 360 metal roof panels and Architectural III metal wall panels for an 18,000-square-foot addition to Cornerstone Church in Cheshire, Conn.

American Buildings Co. supplied Galvalume Standing Seam 360 metal roof panels and Architectural III metal wall panels for an 18,000-square-foot addition to Cornerstone Church in Cheshire, Conn. The American Buildings’ pre-engineered facility, completed in October 2014, includes a lobby, commons, pub, cafĂ©, multifunctional sanctuary, children’s center, restroom and children’s worship center. Construction manager and builder PDS Engineering and Construction Inc. received first place in the church/ religious category of American Buildings’ Excellence in Design Awards.
