The 14,296-square-foot (1,328-m2) White Mountain Administrative Complex in Campton, N.H., utilized Star Building Systems’ StarShield Roof System in Charcoal Gray, along with reverse-rolled DuraRib Wall System in Light Stone, both by Star Building Systems, Oklahoma City. R-30 roof insulation was installed for energy efficiency. Completed in May 2008, the three-structure complex is LEED Silver certified. Star’s custom metal buildings were chosen for their cost effectiveness. The builder created custom canopies and cupolas for the project. The complex is designed to resemble a typical New England sugarhouse.
U.S. Department of Agriculture-Forest Service, Washington, D.C., was the architect, and Construx Inc., Plymouth, N.H., was the builder and steel erector.
