The 34,900-square-foot (3,242-m2) International Paper Co. corporate flight hangar in Memphis, Tenn., includes customer lobby spaces, corporate office spaces, and maintenance staff offices and shops.
Wheat Ridge, Colo.-based Tectonic Management Group Inc., which designed and built the structure, used a Rigid Frame system from Varco Pruden Buildings, Memphis, and a SSR roof, also from Varco Pruden. For the walls, the builder used Varco Pruden’s Vee Rib in Ash Gray. The image of the building complements the existing campus vernacular of the adjacent 1930s Art Deco executive terminal building.
