Custom canopy for hotel

Completed in January, the Holiday Inn in Lincoln, Neb., features a Lumishade hangar rod canopy from Lincoln-based Mapes Architectural Canopies. The 390-square-foot (36-m2) canopy in a Clear Anodized finish has 0.04-inch (1-mm) rollformed decking and a custom-made piece of fascia that is 12 inches (305 mm) tall and set at a 45-degree angle. David Design, Lincoln, was the architect, and Glass Edge, Lincoln, installed the canopy.
