JC Pierce LLC specified metal roof and wall panels for a private residence in Pittsburgh, in part, to refer to the steel industry’s history in the area. The residence has an exposed concrete foundation around the base of the perimeter of the first floor.
Abreez Contracting LLC installed approximately 800 square feet of Englert Inc.’s 18-inch-wide Series 2000 standing seam roof panels in Galvalume, and 3,408 square feet of McElroy Metal’s U-Panel vertical metal wall panels with exposed fasteners in Galvalume. Additionally, they installed approximately 1,140 square feet of McElroy Metal’s U-Panel horizontal metal wall panels with exposed fasteners in Charcoal, 360 square feet of McElroy Metal’s Mega-Rib horizontal metal wall panels with exposed fasteners in White, and 162 square feet of McElroy Metal’s Matrix soffit panels in Galvalume. The Galvalume finish was used on the sloped roof to reduce heat gain. The 2,472-square-foot project was completed in January 2015.
