Lancaster, Pa.-based Fabral supplied approximately 1,000 squares (9,290 m2) of Might-Rib and V-Beam exposed fastener panels for the exterior wall panels and interior liner panels at the Hickman Air Force Base in Oahu, Hawaii. The hangar was built by Sure Steel Inc., Sandy, Utah. The hybrid construction made for the most cost-effective building possible. The project recently won an award for Excellence in Aviation for Building of the Year from the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association, Shawnee Mission, Kan.
