Major mall renovation

The 40-year-old
One Hundred Oaks Mall in Nashville, Tenn. underwent a major transformation to become a significant mixed-use development with Vanderbilt University Medical Center being the major tenant.

Approximately 40,000 square feet (3,716 m2) of 0.08-aluminum panels in Dove Gray from Holland, Mich.-based Dri-Design, were used to help modernize the facility. The exterior façade of the 880,000-square foot (81,752-m2) mall was originally brick, precast and EIFS. The renovation plan required knocking out exterior walls and creating framed openings for windows.

Gresham Smith & Partners, Nashville, was the architect, and JWC Specialties, Nashville, installed the Dri-Design panels.
