The 11,800-square-foot (1,096-m2) Roanir Medical Center, Douglasville, Ga., houses a variety of medical practices. The project utilized several Moon Township, Pa.-based CENTRIA products, including 6,461 square feet (600 m2) of 22/26-gauge Formawall Dimension Series 2-inch (51-mm) horizontal panels in Light Seawolf with an embossed finish and Fluorofinsh coating; 507 square feet (47 m2) of 22/26-gauge Formawall Dimension Series 2-inch horizontal panels in Aspen Gold with an embossed finish and Fluorofinish coating; and C/S Integrated Sunshades.
The Formawall Dimension Series panels provided the building team with complementary subtle earth tones that blended together and created a calming exterior look to the building. Additionally, the panels were easy to install and only required one component to create a wall with superior thermal efficiency and moisture control in any environment. CENTRIA’s Formawall Dimension Series is the first exterior wall system to earn Cradle to Cradle Silver Certification. The C/S Integrated Sunshades were a practical choice to shield direct sunlight on one side of the building.
The Architect Inc., Atlanta, was the architect; Carter-de Golian Inc., Smyrna, Ga., was the general contractor; and Peachtree Protective Covers Inc., Hiram, Ga., was the dealer and installer.
