Metal mesh makes hotel design

Davis Partnership PC specified a curtainwall with metal mesh for the ART, a hotel in Denver. Alliance Glazing Technologies installed 30,000 square feet of Kawneer Co. Inc.’s 1600SS Curtain Wall System with 500 feet of Kawneer’s guardrail on the terrace level. Additionally, Alliance Glazing Technologies installed 500 square feet of Kawneer’s 1600SS Curtain Wall System with McNICHOLS Co.’s stainless steel woven wire mesh. The steel mesh panels were integrated with backlit signage.

The project also included Alliance Glazing Technologies’ installation of Viracon Inc.’s insulated glass and laminated tempered glass. Stanley Access Technologies LLC installed Oldcastle Building Envelope’s all-glass doors and Solar Innovations Inc.’s folding door systems for the project. The 35,000-square-foot project was completed in June 2015.
