The Jack London Square Building F1 in Oakland, Calif. features 35,000 square feet (3,252 m2) of Firestone UNA-CLAD UC-14 aluminum Snap-Lock Standing Seam roofing panels in a custom medium grey Kynar 500 finish. On floors one and two is the Jack London Market, which will contain the largest everyday fresh market on the West coast, various restaurants and an artisan food hall, approximately 40 vendors in all. On floors three through six is Class A office space. The metal roofing system from Firestone Metal Products, Anoka, Minn., accommodates very long panels and allows freedom of movement. The roofing contractor was Air Systems Inc., San Jose, Calif.; the architect was RMW Architecture & Interiors, San Francisco; the general contractor was Howard S. Wright Cos., San Francisco; and the supplier was Construction Resource Inc., Oakland, Calif.
